A bit about me

My name is Paul Howse, I began practising Pilates 10 years ago, after being recommended to try it by my osteopath. Having spent fifteen years as a technician in the motor trade I had bad posture which was leading to injuries in both my knees and back.
This coupled with lifting heavy weights in the gym and too much water skiing had taken it’s toll on my body.

After my first course in Pilates I could not believe the difference. The new found body awareness I now had helped me with my posture in every day life, but the challenges of the exercises enabled me to keep in great shape.

In 2003 I came to a time in my life when I needed a career and lifestyle change and becoming a Pilates Instructor was the obvious choice for me.

I carried out my training with The Body Control Pilates Institute ® and I am fully qualified in the Body Control Pilates Method.
I hold a Level 3 certification in the Register of Exercise Professionals.

I am qualified to teach on the reformer, Cadillac, barrel and chair.  For more information about this please contact me.
